​Kirkland Urban was brought to life during The MOD as part of the Kirkland Umbrella Fringe Festival, transforming the plaza into a playground of creativity and community. All weekend long, contemporary art met live performance in ways that celebrated the unconventional and the unexpected.

Visitors of all ages came to experience live music, striking art installations, interactive artwork, and hands-on activities. From spontaneous performances to family-friendly moments of making and discovery, it was a memorable snapshot of Kirkland’s creative spirit on full display. 

The event was anchored by 25+ artists featuring a curated mix of modern, abstract, and conceptual pieces. Folks met the artists, browsed for special pieces to take home, and experienced the best artwork our region has to offer.
