In poetic fashion, the sun came out to greet Kirkland Urban guests as they enjoyed a fun-filled day to twist and shout with Beatle’s tribute band” Good Day Sunshine.”

The groovy group invited fans of all ages to come together in the plaza, paying homage to the legendary Rooftop Concert from the center’s mezzanine level. 

An old VW bus transformed by Shutter Bus Co. was on site to provide a free themed photo booth for concertgoers.  

Folks were able to take home free giveaways like colorful balloon art and stop by the arts and crafts station to spark some cool creativity. We even handed out hats to folks who spent $35 or more at a KU retailer!
