‘Twas the Frostival Celebration at Kirkland Urban
‘Twas the four nights of Frostival, at Kirkland Urban so bright,
When all through the plaza, a festive delight.
The holiday spirit was sparkling with cheer,
As families gathered to celebrate the best time of the year.
They sat down with Santa, and took photos for free,
Captured in a wonderland beside the twinkling tree.
Letters to Santa were written with care,
Dropped in the mailbox, hopes filling the air.
A carver sculpted festive pieces made of ice,
Creating frosty wonders that looked oh-so-nice.
Costumed characters greeted guests with such cheer,
And carolers’ voices made the night oh-so-dear.
Children made artwork at the nearby craft tables,
And alpacas smiled widely in the KU plaza stables.
Snow blanketed the ground for all ages to enjoy,
And decorations abounded, real life-sized kids toys.
A live DJ spun tunes, so lively and grand,
As a market with crafts lined the snow-covered land.
A face painter worked wonders, with sparkles so pretty,
Transforming young faces in this small holiday city.
Kirkland Urban’s Frostival was full of all this season should be,
Four magical evenings, a true holiday of glee.
With laughter and joy filling the air everywhere,
Twas’ an amazing time for our community to share.
Please come join the fun for our last Frostival of the year this Saturday, December 21st from 4:00 – 7:00pm! We cannot wait to share in the festivities with you!
